I’m using Ubuntu. I just switched from xmrstak as it wasn’t running after randomx switch, and saw this message on xmrig log, came up to your post and wanted to give it a try.

I installed “hugepages” and then ran “hugeadm -explain” . I noticed the line below

hugeadm:WARNING: User XXXXXX (uid: 1000) is not a member of the hugetlb_shm_group root (gid: 0)!

So I just ran xmrig as root and It was all smooth. In my case , on 3 cores , the performance increase is around %44 !
